Snail Soup...Its whats for dinner!

We didn't hear too much from our parents this week. One thing I will note is that they were doing some serious bragging about how huge the spiders are there after we showed them a ginormous tarantula that we (siblings and spouses) all ran into while together this past week.. so we're waiting for some pictures to prove that! HA! I'm pretty sure that every moment of every day for them is spent working hard doing the best kind of work there is, the work of the Lord!
That's all for now so I'll just let the pictures, videos and captions from the week do most of the talking...

"Gonzaga Zone Missionaries. Matching dresses and ties. The sisters had dresses made for them. They only cost $8 each, took two days to complete and were made to fit. I (mom) might have to try it..."

"While Dad was in the priesthood session of the Gonzaga district conference, I shared a message with these lovely ladies!"

"The Piddig Branch 20th Anniversary from when it was formed. The YM and YW sang. The two sisters on the left are our Sister Missionaries serving in Piddig."

"Dad said a few words and got them fired up about getting their own building and becoming a ward. Right now they meet in a rental space."

"A branch party is not complete without a little ABBA!"
( I thought this was so cute, check out the Branch president and other men
sitting to the side just smiling away)

"Dad had meetings and so I took the opportunity to go out with two of our sister missionaries! It was wonderful!! This is us riding a Tri-C to one of their Barangays (neighborhoods) You just hop onto the back of a motorcycle and hold on!"

" A members home. Notice her borders made from glass bottles, nice!"

"Walking through the Barangay inviting people to come to the district conference tomorrow"

"Dinner for this family. Masarap! (delicious)"

"Teaching one of their investigators, Randolf. Most of it was in Tagalog, but I understood the teachings about tithing and the law of the fast and the sisters gave me the opportunity to bear my testimony. Awesome stuff!

"Kids headed home from school (on top of the bus rather than in it, yikes).. and (previously) Dad got a ticket for going down a one way the wrong way.. hmm.."
